Kushal Singh’s 63 helps him lead on Day 2
Kushal Singh fired a seven-under 63 to take the halfway lead at the Jaipur Open 2025, moving to 13-under 127 after two rounds at Rambagh Golf Club.
The Gurugram pro (64-63) is chasing his first big week of the season after a recent runner-up at the PGTI NexGen in Bhubaneswar, and backed up Thursday’s fast start by surviving an early wobble before pouring it on late.
Singh opened his second round with five straight pars, then leaked a bogey at the sixth. From there, he flipped the script—eight birdies from the seventh through the 18th—built on big drives and a couple of sharp up-and-downs to edge clear by one.
Order of Merit leader Yuvraj Sandhu stayed right on his heels, also shooting 63 to reach 12-under 128 and sit solo second.
The low round of the day belonged to Veer Ahlawat, last season’s PGTI No. 1, who posted a bogey-free eight-under 62 to jump into a share of third at 11-under 129 alongside Ravi Kumar (63), who was also spotless on his card.
First-round leader Manoj S slid back to tied 11th after a 72 left him at five-under 135. The cut fell at even-par 140, with 54 players advancing. Jaipur locals Prakhar Asawa (two-under) and Hemendra Choudhary (one-under) made it through to the weekend.
