Jaglan draws level with Sandhu for thrilling TATA Open finale

Shubham Jaglan and Yuvraj Sandhu set up a thrilling Sunday showdown after finishing day three tied for the lead at 14-under 199 in the INR 2 crore TATA Open 2025, the PGTI season finale being played across the Beldih and Golmuri courses in Jamshedpur.

Twenty-one-year-old Jaglan (68-66-65), playing just his third PGTI event since turning professional, fired a flawless six-under 65 to join the lead. The youngster, fresh from earning his 2026 Asian Tour card at Q-School in Thailand, rode a superb front nine featuring three birdies and an eagle—two from seven feet and two from 15 feet—and held steady with clutch par-saves on the back. “Playing across two venues was a new experience,” he said. “The travel slowed me down, but those long par-saves at Beldih gave me momentum and confidence. Being in the leader group for the first time was special.”

Halfway leader Yuvraj Sandhu (67-64-68) carded a steady three-under 68 with five birdies and two bogeys to maintain position. Already crowned 2025 PGTI Order of Merit champion and DP World Tour-bound, he now chases a record seventh win of the season.

Five shots back in tied third at nine-under 204 sit Veer Ahlawat (65), Khalin Joshi (68) and N. Thangaraja (68). Manoj S aced the 17th, closing with 67 to reach eight-under 205 in tied sixth.
