Dilawari takes one-shot lead at Kalhaar
Ridhima Dilawari continued her strong start to the season by opening with a 2-under 70 to take a one-shot lead after the first round of the second leg of the 2026 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at Kalhaar Blues & Greens.
A runner-up in last week’s season opener, Dilawari steadied herself over the closing stretch to move clear. She mixed two bogeys with four birdies, making back-to-back gains on the seventh and eighth and again on the 14th and 15th to edge ahead of the field.
Dilawari opened with four pars before dropping a shot at the par-5 fifth. Birdies at seven and eight pulled her back under par, but another bogey at the 10th left her level once more. Late birdies on 14 and 15 proved decisive as she signed for 70.
Sneha Singh sat second at 1-under 71 after a clean, bogey-free round. The two-time winner in 2025 parred her first 15 holes before picking up her lone birdie at the par-3 16th.
Six players were tied for third at 1-over 73, led by 2025 Order of Merit winner Vani Kapoor, alongside Jahanvi Bakshi, Nayanika Sanga, amateur Mahreen Bhatia, Karishma Govind and rookie Saanvi Somu.
Defending champion Jasmine Shekar endured a tough start, carding a 7-over 79 that left her well off the pace heading into the second round.
