Rory McIlroy will return to the DP World India Championship as Delhi Golf Club prepares to host a world-class field in October.
The World No. 2 is confirmed for the $4 million event from October 15–18, with fans now able to register their interest in tickets.
McIlroy made his India debut at this event last season and is set for a second straight appearance.
The Northern Irishman comes in as one of the game’s biggest names, having completed the career Grand Slam in 2025. He also won the Race to Dubai for a seventh time and helped Europe secure a historic Ryder Cup win in the United States.
Tommy Fleetwood, the defending champion and World No. 4, will also return after winning the inaugural edition.
The tournament, launched in 2025, is co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGTI and carries the largest prize purse ever for a DP World Tour event in India.
McIlroy said he looks forward to returning after a memorable first visit.
With another strong field expected, the event continues to strengthen India’s place on the global golf calendar and forms a key part of the Race to Dubai’s Back 9 stretch.
