Dhruv Sheoran set the early pace with a 4-under 67 in round one of the Andhra Open.
The PGTI winner leads by one at East Point Golf Club after a round built around an eagle and a strong front-nine burst.
Sheoran’s highlight came on the par-5 12th, where he set up a tap-in eagle after a massive 372-yard drive and precise approach. He later picked up momentum with three straight birdies from the first to the third.
Chikkarangappa S. and Khalin Joshi are tied second at 3-under 68, one shot off the lead.
Angad Cheema sits tied fourth at 69, while Order of Merit leader Saptak Talwar is tied 10th at 1-under 70.

Subash Tamang made an ace on the par-3 11th
Nepal’s Subash Tamang also produced a moment of the day with a hole-in-one on the par-3 11th.
Sheoran, currently 11th on the Order of Merit, said staying patient on tricky greens was key to his round.
With scoring tight at the top, the second round could quickly reshape the leaderboard.
