Diksha Dagar, Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth and Tvesa Malik will represent India as the KPMG Women’s Irish Open begins Thursday at The K Club.

Diksha Dagar will lead a four-member Indian contingent at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, beginning Thursday on the Palmer South Course at The K Club in County Kildare.

The two-time Ladies European Tour winner arrives in Ireland following a consistent season featuring five top-10 finishes and another four results inside the top 20. The Hero-backed golfer is currently 11th in the LET Order of Merit.

Dagar will be joined by Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth and Tvesa Malik in the €450,000 tournament, which is celebrating its 20th edition and features players representing 34 nationalities.

Urs was the only Indian to make the cut at the VP Bank Swiss Ladies Open two weeks ago, finishing tied for 38th. The Mysuru golfer has qualified for the weekend in 12 of her 17 starts this season and sits 46th in the LET rankings.

Prashanth returns after skipping the Swiss event to take a break in India. The 18-year-old rookie earned her full LET card earlier this season and has already recorded two top-five finishes, sharing third place with Dagar at the Dutch Ladies Open and finishing tied fifth at the Jabra Ladies Open.

Malik completes the Indian line-up and will look to rebound after missing the cut in Switzerland. Her best result of the season also came at the Jabra Ladies Open, where she shared fifth place.

Accuracy and course management are expected to be important on the Palmer South layout, particularly if strong winds arrive during the week.

The home challenge will be led by Solheim Cup player Leona Maguire, with a record 16 Irish golfers—nine professionals and seven amateurs—entered in the field.

No Irish player has won the Women’s Irish Open. Maguire, the country’s only LET winner, will attempt to end that wait after claiming the individual title at the 2024 Aramco Team Series–London.
