Gaganjeet Bhullar reinforced his status as the AM Green IGPL’s most successful player by closing with a five-under 65 to win the Krishna Invitational 2026 Hyderabad by three shots.
Bhullar began the final round tied with Samarth Dwivedi but used his experience to pull away at the Hyderabad Golf Association course. Rounds of 65, 66 and 65 took him to 14-under 196 and delivered his record-extending fifth IGPL title.
It was also Bhullar’s second victory of the 2026 season and strengthened his position at the top of the league’s Merit List.
The 11-time Asian Tour winner made a shaky start with a bogey on the opening hole but quickly regained control. Birdies on the fifth, eighth and ninth helped him turn in two-under before further gains on the 12th and 14th.
An eagle on the par-five 17th effectively sealed the title, allowing Bhullar to absorb a closing bogey and still finish three strokes clear.
Karandeep Kochhar mounted the strongest challenge with a six-under 64, the lowest score of the final round. Three consecutive birdies over his closing holes lifted him into a share of second place at 11-under.
C Muniyappa joined Kochhar after signing for a 66, while Sachin Baisoya’s 65 earned him fourth place at 10-under. Manav Shah, who had threatened the course record with a second-round 61, closed with a 69 to finish fifth.
Dwivedi’s title bid unravelled on the front nine as five bogeys against two birdies left him three-over for the turn. Although he recovered with an eagle on the 14th, a final-round 71 dropped him into a tie for sixth at eight-under.
Bhullar’s victory also powered Chennai Lions GC to the team title at 26-under. Vizag Dolphins finished two shots behind, with Punjab Raptors GC third at 23-under.
The double success completed another commanding week for Bhullar, who remains the benchmark for consistency and winning performances on the IGPL.
