Khalin Joshi extended his lead to three shots after round three of the Andhra Open.
The Bengaluru pro carded a 1-under 70 to move to 7-under 206, putting himself firmly in control heading into the final round at East Point Golf Club.
Yash Majmudar (69) and Rashid Khan (67) are tied second at 4-under 209, with Rashid producing the round of the day to surge into contention.
Joshi’s round was built on a strong recovery after an early wobble. He steadied himself with a tap-in birdie on the seventh and then made the decisive move with an eagle on the par-5 12th, converting from 15 feet.
Despite a shaky start that included three early three-putts, Joshi stayed composed and relied on his ball-striking to regain control of the round.
Majmudar continued his consistent week but dropped a shot on the final hole to slip into a tie for second, while Rashid’s charge — featuring an eagle and five birdies — brought him right into the mix.
Viraj Madappa and Arjun Sharma are tied fourth at 2-under 211.
Joshi, chasing his first win since 2022, now holds a clear advantage — but with one round to go, the chasing pack remains within striking distance.
