Pranavi Urs closed with a 3-under 69 to finish tied for 17th, while Casandra Alexander completed a wire-to-wire victory at The K Club.

Pranavi Urs produced a solid final-round 69 to finish tied for 17th at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open, where South Africa’s Casandra Alexander secured her second Ladies European Tour title.

Urs, the only Indian to make the cut, recorded four birdies against one bogey on Sunday. The Hero-backed golfer picked up shots at the seventh, eighth and 11th before dropping her only shot at the 13th. She signed off with a birdie at the 18th to complete an encouraging week at The K Club.

Urs had moved within reach of the top 10 earlier in the tournament but was unable to make further headway on a tightly packed leaderboard, with low scoring throughout the week.

At the top, Alexander completed a wire-to-wire victory with a closing 70 to finish at 20-under, three strokes ahead of Czech Republic’s Sara Kouskova.

The South African began the final round with a three-shot advantage after rounds of 63, 66 and 69, with her opening 63 setting a course record on the Palmer South Course. Consecutive bogeys at the second and third briefly reduced her advantage, but Alexander responded with three straight birdies from the fifth.

She added further birdies at the 10th and 15th, either side of a bogey at the 12th and a 30-minute suspension caused by a storm, before closing with three pars.

The victory was Alexander’s first of the 2026 season following five runner-up finishes and extended her lead in the LET Order of Merit.

Kouskova finished second at 17-under after a final-round 70, while Finland’s Noora Komulainen shot 67 to claim third at 16-under. Home favourite Leona Maguire and Sweden’s Louise Rydqvist shared fourth at 15-under.

The LET season continues with the La Sella Open in Spain, beginning September 17.
