A record field of 57 players will tee up for the fifth leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurugram, headlined by season leaders Ridhima Dilawari and Tvesa Malik.
The field includes 49 professionals and eight amateurs competing for a prize purse of Rs.18 lakh, highlighting the growing depth of women’s golf in India.
Dilawari has been the standout performer this season, winning two of the four events so far and adding a runner-up finish to lead the Hero Order of Merit standings.
Malik and Jasmine Shekar have also tasted victory this year, making it three different winners across the opening events of the season. All the title winners so far are part of this week’s field.
Former Hero Order of Merit champions Sneha Singh and Amandeep Drall are also in the line-up, along with experienced campaigner Neha Tripathi.
Among the other contenders are Seher Atwal and Anvitha Narender, who finished tied second in the third leg earlier this season.
The amateur contingent includes Alysha Dutt, Riddhima Singh, Lavanya Gupta, Priya Kumari, Ceerat Kang, Aradhana Manikandan, Mahreen Bhatia and Rashi Mishra.
With the season gathering momentum, the Gurugram stop promises a competitive week as the Order of Merit race begins to take shape.
