Masters champions Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson will make their tournament debuts when the $4 million DP World India Championship returns to Delhi Golf Club from October 15-18.
Masters champions Patrick Reed and Bubba Watson have confirmed their participation in the second edition of the DP World India Championship, further strengthening an already star-studded field at Delhi Golf Club.
The American duo will join defending champion Tommy Fleetwood, Career Grand Slam winner Rory McIlroy and 2026 Open champion Ryan Fox at the $4 million event from October 15-18.
Major winners Shane Lowry and Justin Rose, European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and Viktor Hovland will also return, while PGA Tour and DP World Tour winner Min Woo Lee is set to make his tournament debut. Shubhankar Sharma and Anirban Lahiri will headline the Indian challenge.
Reed, the 2018 Masters champion and current Race to Dubai leader, will arrive in Delhi seeking his third victory of the season. The American won his first Rolex Series title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic in January before adding the Qatar Masters crown two weeks later.
“I really enjoy playing all over the world and I’m looking forward to teeing it up in the DP World India Championship for the first time,” Reed said. “It comes at an important time in the season, so I’m excited to see what we can do in Delhi.”
Watson, who won the Masters in 2012 and 2014, will also make his first appearance at Delhi Golf Club. The left-hander has recorded 15 professional victories during his career.
“I’ve heard that Delhi Golf Club is a great test, and golf fans in India are very passionate, so I’m looking forward to the week,” Watson said.
Launched in 2025 by DP World and the DP World Tour, the championship is co-sanctioned by the Professional Golf Tour of India and offers the largest prize purse for a DP World Tour event staged in the country.
The tournament will be the eighth of nine events in the Back 9 phase of the Race to Dubai, leading into the season-ending DP World Tour Play-Offs and the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
