Ridhima Dilawari displayed impressive distance control to win the Hero Shot, while Finland’s Sanna Nuutinen guided her team to victory in the Hero Pro-Am ahead of the 18th Hero Women’s Indian Open at DLF Golf and Country Club.
The Hero Shot brought together seven leading professionals from this week’s field for a knockout contest on the 18th green. With players required to attack the target from progressively longer distances, Dilawari outlasted Asian Games gold medallist Pranavi Urs in the final to collect the top prize of US$4,000.

Pranavi, a Hero MotoCorp brand ambassador, earned US$2,000 as runner-up. Defending Hero Women’s Indian Open champion Shannon Tan and 2024 LET Order of Merit winner Chiara Tamburlini were the losing semi-finalists.
Vani Kapoor, 2024 champion Liz Young and two-time LET winner Diksha Dagar also competed in the opening round.
The contest began from 90 yards, with each golfer given 60 seconds to play up to nine shots and accumulate points according to proximity. The semi-final moved back to 100 yards, where six shots were required without a time restriction. Dilawari and Pranavi then contested the final from 110 yards under the same six-shot format.
