Tommy Fleetwood will return to defend his title at the DP World India Championship, which is set to return for its second edition at Delhi Golf Club from October 15–18, 2026.
The World No. 3 headlines the $4 million event after winning the inaugural edition last season, a victory that formed part of a remarkable run that also included his FedExCup triumph and a Ryder Cup appearance for Europe.
Fleetwood claimed the title in Delhi with a late burst on the final day, producing a run of birdies around the turn before adding crucial gains on the 14th and 17th to secure a two-shot win. The Englishman celebrated the victory alongside his family, making it a memorable moment in his career.
The DP World India Championship, co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and the PGTI, offers the largest prize fund for a DP World Tour event in India and forms a key part of the Race to Dubai’s Back 9 phase.
Fleetwood said he was looking forward to returning to India, highlighting both the challenge of Delhi Golf Club and the atmosphere around the event as key reasons behind his return.
The tournament reflects India’s growing presence on the global golf calendar, building on the success of events like the Hero Indian Open and attracting elite international fields.
As one of the final events before the DP World Tour Play-Offs, the championship will play a crucial role in shaping the Race to Dubai standings ahead of the season-ending finale in Dubai.
