Khalin Joshi returned to the winner’s circle after nearly four years with a commanding four-shot victory at the Andhra Open.
The Bengaluru pro closed with a 2-under 69 to finish at 9-under 275 (68-68-70-69), sealing his seventh professional title at East Point Golf Club. The win — his first since August 2022 — lifts him to 12th on the PGTI Order of Merit.
Akshay Sharma produced the round of the day, a course-record 6-under 65, to surge from 13th to second at 5-under 279, but never seriously threatened Joshi’s lead.
Starting the day with a three-shot cushion, Joshi managed the final round with control. An early bogey was quickly offset by a birdie on the fourth, and he stayed steady through the turn before a key birdie on the 15th helped shut the door.
He led from round two and handled the pressure well on a course that played as a par-71 after the seventh was converted into a 477-yard par-4 for the week.
Saptak Talwar, fresh off a win last month, finished tied third at 4-under to extend his lead atop the Order of Merit.
Yash Majmudar, notable for his one-handed chipping technique, also shared third in his first start of the season.
Ajeetesh Sandhu took fifth at 3-under, while Angad Cheema, Honey Baisoya, Rashid Khan and Manjot Singh shared sixth.
The tour now moves to Hyderabad for the inaugural Boulders Classic at Boulder Hills Golf & Country Club from April 14–17.
