Avani & Aditi finish just outside Top-10 as France’s Nadaud claims LET Title
Avani Prashanth and Aditi Ashok closed their 2025 LET seasons with matching 1-under 71s to finish T-11 at the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España, narrowly missing out on a Top-10 after both dropped shots on the final hole.
Playing together in Sunday’s final round at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf, Avani carded four birdies against three bogeys, while Aditi produced three birdies and two bogeys. Both were firmly in the hunt for a Top-10 until late mistakes on the 18th hole pushed them just outside.
Among the other Indians, Hitaashee Bakshi shot a fine 69 to finish T-43, Pranavi Urs returned a 73 for T-47, and Diksha Dagar signed for a 75 to end T-71.
The day belonged to France’s Nastasia Nadaud, who surged from five shots back to storm to her maiden LET victory with a superb 66. The 21-year-old opened birdie-birdie-eagle to seize control and added a string of three more birdies on the back nine to finish at 16-under, four clear of Australia’s Kirsten Rudgeley.
Nadaud, who has been working with LET professional Michele Thomson as caddie since September, credited the partnership for helping her sharpen her self-belief this season.
Four players finished tied for third at 11-under, including Australia’s Kelsey Bennett and Germany’s Olivia Cowan.
In the season-long LET Order of Merit, Singapore’s Shannon Tan sealed the No.1 crown, finishing 183.01 points ahead of England’s Mimi Rhodes, while Nadaud’s victory pushed her up to third.
A strong showing from Avani and Aditi caps a breakthrough year for Indian women’s golf on the LET stage.
