Avani secures full LET status for 2025

At just 18 years old, Avani Prashanth has taken another giant leap in her golf journey, earning full status on the Ladies European Tour (LET) for the 2025 season. The two-time All India Ladies Champion and one of India’s brightest amateur stars put together an impressive campaign at Q-School, delivering rounds of 69-69-73-71-70 to finish at 11-under 352, tied for 16th place.

Heading into the final day tied for 13th, Avani knew she needed to stay within the top 20 to secure her spot. With calm determination, she battled through the pressure and sealed her place, opening the door to a bright future on one of the world’s premier women’s golf tours.

Joining her in making strides on the international stage are Hitaashee Bakshi and Sneha Singh, the top two players on India’s Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT) this season. Both finished tied-36th at 6-under par, earning conditional LET status in Category 16. Amandeep Drall, another experienced player from Panchkula, also showed her grit, finishing tied-48th at 4-under.

Avani’s achievement echoes the success of Pranavi Urs, who last year became only the second Indian to secure full LET playing rights through Q-School, finishing 13th with a 12-under total. Pranavi proved she belongs on the global stage by finishing 17th in the LET rankings this year, securing her spot for 2025.

With Avani now joining Pranavi, Diksha, Tvesa and Aditi as full LET members, the future of Indian women’s golf has never looked brighter. These young stars are not just breaking barriers—they’re inspiring a generation and proving that Indian golf has a place among the world’s elite.
