Dilawari extends lead to four after round two at Kalhaar
Ridhima Dilawari tightened her grip on the second leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, firing a 3-under 69 to extend her lead to four shots after two rounds at Kalhaar Blues & Greens.
Dilawari produced the decisive stretch mid-round, rolling in four birdies in a row before closing with a bogey. The round followed her opening 70 and lifted her to 5-under for the championship. A winner last at Zion Hills Country Club in July 2025, Dilawari now sits firmly in control heading into the final round.
Amateur Zara Anand moved into second at 1-under 143 (72-71), while Jahanvi Bakshi and Amandeep Drall shared third at even par. Bakshi recovered from early bogeys with an eagle on the par-5 fifth and a birdie at the 11th to post a 71. Drall looked set for a stronger round before a closing double bogey left her with a second straight 72.
Behind the leader, the leaderboard remains tightly packed. Eight players are separated by just three shots in the chase for the remaining podium places.
Amateur Lavanya Gupta produced one of the rounds of the day, bouncing back from a troubled front nine to sign for a 70 and move into a tie for fifth alongside Nayanika Sanga at 1-over 145. Vani Kapoor and Saanvi Somu were among those tied seventh, while last week’s winner Jasmine Shekar slipped to T-17.
The cut fell at 159, with 27 players advancing to the final round.
