DP World Tour Q-School: Rayhan shoots 72 to stand 60th in Spain

Rayhan Thomas, a 24-year-old former Oklahoma State University standout, opened his DP World Tour Q-School journey with a composed 4-under 67, but a second-round 72 saw him slip from T-26th to T-60th at 4-under par at the Hills Course at INFINITUM Golf Resort in Tarragona, Spain. With four rounds remaining in the grueling six-round, 108-hole qualifier, Thomas holds his ground as the only Indian player currently inside the cut-line.

Elsewhere, Saptak Talwar carded a 71 to match compatriot Angad Cheema’s effort, positioning both at T-93 at 2-under par. Frenchman Félix Mory, who lit up the course with a 61 in the first round to claim the early lead, settled for a 70 to end the day tied for second at 12-under, alongside Norway’s Alexander Settemsdal.

Italian veteran Edoardo Molinari, a three-time DP World Tour winner and former Ryder Cup player, seized the lead with a stunning round of 61, reaching 17-under par and building a commanding five-shot advantage. The fierce Q-School competition sees 156 players from 31 countries battling it out, with the field narrowing after 72 holes. Only the top 65 and ties will advance, all striving for one of the highly sought-after 20 DP World Tour cards for the 2025 season.
