Five Indians set for LET season opener at PIF Saudi Ladies International
Five Indian golfers will be in action as the 2026 Ladies European Tour season begins with the PIF Saudi Ladies International at Riyadh Golf Club from February 11–14.
Diksha Dagar leads the Indian challenge after finishing 25th on the 2025 LET Order of Merit. A former top-three finisher in 2023, Diksha will be aiming for a stronger overall season after a steady year on tour.
She is joined by Avani Prashanth, who impressed in her rookie LET season, Pranavi Urs, who returned strongly after an injury-interrupted 2025 campaign, and Hitaashee Bakshi, who secured her LET card with a top-three finish at the Hero Indian Open.
Also in the field is India’s most experienced international campaigner, Aditi Ashok, a five-time LET winner who continues to split her schedule between the LPGA Tour and the LET.
The Saudi Ladies International will be played as a 72-hole stroke play event with a cut after 36 holes and carries a prize purse of USD 5 million. It also opens the 2026 PIF Global Series, part of a record LET season offering more than €40 million in total prize money for the first time.
This is the first time the Saudi Ladies International will serve as the LET season-opener. The 120-player field represents more than 30 nationalities and includes several leading names from both the LET and the LPGA Tour.
Reigning Order of Merit champion Shannon Tan of Singapore begins her title defence this week, alongside Thailand’s Patty Tavatanakit, the 2024 champion, and World No. 5 Charley Hull, a four-time LET winner.
For the Indian contingent, Riyadh marks the opening opportunity to set the tone in a season with increased prize money and higher global stakes.
