Five Indians set for season finale at Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España

Indian women’s golf will have its strongest-ever presence at a Ladies European Tour season finale this week, with five Indians in the elite 75-player field at the Andalucía Costa del Sol Open de España, to be played from Nov 27–30 at Real Guadalhorce Club de Golf.

Diksha Dagar (23rd in OOM) and Pranavi Urs (40th) headline the Indian challenge, joined by Avani Prashanth (41st) and Hitaashee Bakshi (58th). Former champion Aditi Ashok, winner here in 2023, tees it up on a special invite.

The strong Indian contingent reflects the rapid rise of women’s golf at home—powered by the 15-event Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour, and breakthrough global performances across age groups.

Diksha, who has enjoyed another steady season, opens alongside Laura Fuenstueck and Brianna Navarrosa.
Aditi pairs with amateur Paula Martín Sampedra and Spanish star Azahara Muñoz.
Pranavi, fresh off a Top-10 at the Hero Women’s Indian Open, plays with compatriot Avani Prashanth, who has enjoyed an excellent rookie season, and Hannah Screen.
Hitaashee, who secured her full 2026 LET card with a sensational T-3 in Gurgaon, is grouped with Celine Herbin and Chloe Williams.

Order of Merit Showdown: Shannon Tan vs. Mimi Rhodes

While the Indian contingent chases a big finish, the spotlight will fall on the battle for the 2025 LET Order of Merit between Singapore’s Shannon Tan and England’s Mimi Rhodes.

Tan enters the finale with a 219-point lead, built on consistent outings and victories at the Amundi German Masters and the Hero Women’s Indian Open.

Rhodes, a three-time winner this season, remains upbeat:

“I’ve got a lot from this year to be proud of. Shannon deserves to be leading. It has been fun battling for the title—and even better that we’ve become such good friends.”

With the OOM crown, season-long bonuses and Major exemptions on the line, the finale promises high drama—and with five Indians in the draw, it’s also a milestone week for Indian golf.
