Golf Channel extends DP World Tour rights in U.S. through 2030

Golf Channel and the DP World Tour have agreed a multi-year extension that keeps Golf Channel as the exclusive U.S. television home of the DP World Tour through 2030.

Under the deal, Golf Channel will carry live coverage of every DP World Tour event, totaling nearly 600 hours of live tournament golf each year.

Golf Channel executive Tom Knapp framed the renewal as a continuation of a long-running viewing habit for U.S. fans, while DP World Tour CEO Guy Kinnings said the agreement ensures American audiences “never miss a shot” as the Tour travels globally. Kinnings also pointed to strong U.S. viewership during the 2025 season as the partnership enters its fourth decade.

The timing aligns with the start of the Tour’s 2026 International Swing, which begins this week at the Dubai Invitational at Dubai Creek Resort. The field includes world No. 2 Rory McIlroy, defending champion and world No. 3 Tommy Fleetwood, and major winners Shane Lowry, Padraig Harrington, Francesco Molinari, Danny Willett, and Patrick Reed.

The 2026 schedule includes five Rolex Series events, starting with the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (Jan. 22–25), followed by the Genesis Scottish Open (July 9–12) and the BMW PGA Championship (Sept. 17–20), before the season-ending playoff stretch at the Abu Dhabi Championship (Nov. 5–8) and the DP World Tour Championship (Nov. 12–15), where the Race to Dubai champion will be decided.
