International Series to make India debut
The International Series, a prestigious 10-event circuit on the Asian Tour that offers a critical gateway for LIV Golf players to earn valuable Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR) points, is making its long-anticipated debut in India.
The inaugural International Series India presented by DLF will take place from January 30 to February 2, 2025, at the renowned DLF Golf & Country Club in Gurgaon. The tournament will feature a 108-player field battling for a share of the impressive $2 million prize purse, with the champion set to take home $360,000. Indian golf icon Anirban Lahiri, a key member of LIV Golf’s Crushers GC captained by two-time U.S. Open winner Bryson DeChambeau, hinted at the presence of past major champions in the field, promising a spectacle for fans.

This event aligns seamlessly with LIV Golf’s 2025 schedule, preceding its season opener in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from February 6-8. The Gary Player-designed course at DLF Golf & Country Club, known for its demanding layout, is expected to attract some of the sport’s biggest names, adding another layer of excitement to an already pivotal week for Asian Tour hopefuls seeking a pathway to the LIV Golf League.
