LET Q-School: 13 Indian golfers vie for 2025 membership
The Ladies European Tour (LET) Qualifying School has kicked off its Pre-Qualifiers in Marrakech from December 10-12, with 248 players from 43 countries vying for a spot on the LET roster for 2025.
Among the contenders are 11 Indian professionals in the Pre-Qualifiers, along with two players who have earned direct entry into the Final Stage.
The Pre-Qualifiers consist of 54-hole, no-cut tournaments. The top 24 players and ties at Noria and the top 23 players and ties at PalmGolf Ourika, Golf Club Rotana and Samanah will progress to the Final Qualifier at the Lalla Aicha Q-School.
The Indian pros competing in the Pre-Qualifiers are:
Rotana: Amandeep Drall, Avani Prashanth, Nayanika Sanga
Noria: Sneha Singh, Ridhima Dilawari, Oviya Reddi, Jasmine Shekar
Samanah: Vidhatri Urs, Neha Tripathi
PalmGolf Ourika: Durga Nittur, Shweta Mansingh
Exempted to Final Stage:
Hitaashee Bakshi & Vani Kapoor
Hitaashee Bakshi secured her direct passage to the Final Stage after winning the 2024 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT) rankings, while Vani Kapoor earned her exemption after finishing 130th in the 2024 LET rankings. The top-75 players, along with those tied, retain full LET status for the following season, while players ranked 76-135 are directly exempted to the Final Stage.
The Final Stage, a 90-hole competition, will take place from December 16-20 at Royal Golf Marrakech and Al Maaden Golf Marrakech. The top 20 players and ties will earn LET Membership in Category 12.
Last year, Pranavi Urs made history by finishing 13th at the Final Stage with a 12-under par total (68-68-71-74-70), securing her full playing rights for the LET in 2024. In 2024, Pranavi finished 17th in the LET rankings, successfully extending her playing rights for the 2025 season.
