LET Q-School: Avani 15th in Morocco

18-year-old Avani Prashanth, a two-time All India Ladies Champion and former top-ranked Indian amateur, continues to impress at the Ladies European Tour (LET) Qualifying School Final Stage in Morocco. With rounds of 69-69-73, she stands tied for 15th at 6-under, keeping her firmly in the mix for a coveted Ladies European Tour card.

Avani, a 2023Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) winner, has shown poise and determination in the grueling 90-hole test, which features 154 players battling across two courses in Marrakech. Only the top 20 and ties will secure full playing rights, raising the stakes as the competition heats up.

Amandeep Drall, 32, and one of India’s most experienced professionals, is tied for 20th at 5-under after consistent rounds of 70-71-72. Meanwhile, Sneha Singh, the 2023 Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (WPGT) leader, is tied for 34th at 3-under after rounds of 73-70-72.

Hitaashee Bakshi staged a stunning recovery with a 6-under 67 after early struggles, moving to tied-71st at 2-over. Vani Kapoor is tied for 81st at 3-over, while Vidhatri Urs, despite a strong start, is tied for 100th at 5-over.

With the 72-hole cut looming, reducing the field to the top 65 and ties for the final round, the pressure is mounting. India’s rising stars are showcasing their talent, proving they belong on this stage.
