LET Q-School: Avani 3rd in Morocco
18-year-old Avani Prashanth, a two-time All India Ladies Champion and former top-ranked Indian amateur, continued her stellar run at the Ladies European Tour (LET) Qualifying School Final Stage in Morocco. Avani posted a second consecutive round of 69, climbing to tied-3rd at 7-under 138, just one shot behind co-leaders Daniela Darquea (Ecuador) and Kaiyuree Moodley (South Africa) at 8-under 137.
Avani, who already claimed a title on the Ladies European Tour Access Series (LETAS) in 2023, has firmly positioned herself among the contenders as the challenging qualifying tournament progresses.

Indian Contenders at a Glance
Hitaashee Bakshi
Hitaashee, the 2024 Hero Women’s Ranking topper, faced a tough start with rounds of 76 and 77. She is currently at tied-131st with 8-over 153 and will need a dramatic turnaround to climb back into contention.
Amandeep Drall
The 32-year-old veteran and multiple-time winner on the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour (Hero WPGT) carded solid rounds of 70 and 71. She currently sits at tied-18th with a score of 4-under.
Sneha Singh
Sneha, who finished 3rd on the 2024 Hero WPGT Order of Merit, bounced back from an opening 73 with a tidy 70 in Round 2. She is now tied-34th at 2-under 143, keeping herself within reach of a leaderboard surge.
Vidhatri Urs
The reigning 2023 All India Ladies Champion showed resilience after an uncharacteristic opening-round 77. The 19-year-old professional rebounded impressively with a 68 in her second round, placing her at tied-52nd with a total score of 145.
Vani Kapoor
One of India’s most experienced professionals and a direct qualifier for the Final Stage, Vani posted rounds of 72-73, joining Vidhatri at tied-52nd on 145. Despite some ground to cover, Vani’s experience will be crucial in the decisive rounds ahead.
The LET Qualifying School Final Stage is a grueling 90-hole challenge played across two courses—Al Maaden Golf Marrakech (par-73) and Royal Golf Marrakech (par-72). A total of 154 players are competing for the coveted Category 12 status on the Ladies European Tour.
Only the top 20 players and ties will secure full playing rights, making the stakes incredibly high as the tournament heats up in Marrakech.
