Martin Couvra leads team to Hero Pro-Am victory at DLF

Martin Couvra led his team to victory at the Hero Indian Open Pro-Am, finishing at 33-under at the DLF Golf and Country Club.

Teaming up with amateurs Navin Raheja, Kundan Kumar and Mohit Nasa, the French professional topped the leaderboard in the traditional curtain-raiser to the $2.55 million event.

Andy Sullivan’s team finished second at 32-under, just one shot behind, while Casey Jarvis guided his side to third place at 30-under.

One of the headline pairings featured Akshay Bhatia alongside Dr. Pawan Munjal. Their team signed for 14-under in the pro-am format, where each professional is paired with three amateurs.

Among the on-course contests, Harish Gupta won the straightest drive on the eighth hole, while Vijay Thomas and Anish Sharma topped the closest-to-the-pin challenges.

The Pro-Am continues to serve as a key build-up event, offering amateurs a chance to compete alongside top professionals and gain valuable experience.

The Hero Indian Open begins on Thursday, with the first round teeing off at 6:25 AM local time at the DLF Golf and Country Club.
