Superstars set for Hero Women’s Indian Open 2025
The Hero Women’s Indian Open 2025 will return from Oct. 9–12 at DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, with its strongest-ever field and an enhanced purse of US$500,000.
India’s top names led by Diksha Dagar, Pranavi Urs, Avani Prashanth and Tvesa Malik will headline the home challenge, joined by rising talents from the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour. They will face a stellar international line-up featuring defending champion Liz Young, current LET Order of Merit leader Mimi Rhodes and 16-year-old Canadian sensation Anna Huang, who has already posted back-to-back wins on the LET. Other contenders include Chiara Tamburlini, Alice Hewson, Shannon Tan and Sara Kouskova—making this year’s field arguably the best in tournament history.
Since joining the Ladies European Tour (LET) schedule in 2010, the Hero Women’s Indian Open has established itself as South Asia’s biggest women’s golf event. Past winners include Yani Tseng, Pornanong Phatlum, Laura Davies and Aditi Ashok, all of whom went on to global success.
With the DLF Golf & Country Club hosting the event for the 15th time, the course once again lives up to its billing as the “Home of Indian women’s golf.” Admission will be free for fans, with practice rounds on Oct. 7–8 and competition from Oct. 9–12.
The 2025 edition promises four days of world-class action, further cementing India’s position on the international women’s golf map.
